was sittin in the tv room n doin my or attemptin to do my shitty accounting essay when pravin my housemate came to watch ‘his’ teams match Arsenal on tv against Tottenham… another friend came over …also a Arsenal supporter….. n Arsenal is playin really badli n Tottenham was actualli wackin them quite well…well the point is not the game but how involved my friends got into the game ..almost passionate…..n the kind of discussions they get into……its almost as though they are there n a part of the team…….not forgettin the use of ‘we’ to talk about Arsenal… eg We are playin damn badli..etc…

me n siva were havin a crack about this in Fenner when the sporean guys got together in the tv room for another one of their soccer games….Man U vs Arsenal….they both played well n the game ended, Pravin (Arsenal supporter) & Sukvin (Man U supporter) actualli walked to each other n shook hands n said ….."u all played a good game’ …’ya u too’

n siva and i couldnt help but look at each other n smirk for obvious reasons….sigh wish i was so passionate abt sumthin  a sport hobby etc….

ok back to my usual ramblings……well alot of pple have heard about Australias  tourist campaign with the famous line " Where da hell r u’

my point is australia esp sydney is not safe for tourists esp large groups of boys ..who have high risks on gettin pounced on………n plus i still do think the police is highli ineffective which is somehow related to how lax the laws are ….in my opinion some pple get away with anithin….. ok im rambling i jus wanted to say clean up your shit….. or show u are attempting to do so…

i jus read my entry n i myself have trouble understandin wat im gettin at…ok back to essay………….

Okies…now on to my favourite topic …SHIT…well im not gona discuss shit….i jus always wonder…..coz the other day i realli needed to pee badli so i ran to the toilet in the library  in uni….so there were 3 cubicles… and there was someone in one of them ……but there was pindrop silence in the toilet…so there i am thinkin……the poor gal was probably takin a dump n was holding it coz someone came in n she dint want to make loud ploppin sounds…..so i went into a cubicle peed washed my hands left…n not a single sound still…..silence in the toilet….. so i asked a friend what do u do when u are in such a situation….accordin to her its common courtesy n if u think the other person is shittin u should straight away leave n go to another toilet……there i am thinkin how come i have never heard of this???? well this is from the point of the person who walks in….what if u are the shitter i mean the person who is shittin…..when u hear someone walk in….is it ok to keep ploppin or do u hold it until pple have left the toilet….. geez i am stumped…..

well other than that……im havin my easter break now….was in sydney last week …..there were bais everywhere coz of the sikh games ……my friends came down from canberra….had fun….

yesterday my housemate drove down to sydney for a day n he bought back krispy kreme donuts……yummmm i think i ate 3 donuts last night one this mornin then i felt soo guily then i went to the gym this evenin to work my ass off…….

btw ,,,,,Guess wats the latest addition to my house ?? i think i asked 4 to 5 pple n almost everyone answered dog………well i would love dat but its not…i have got a POOL TABLE!!! haha how cool is dat….well it was goin cheap n me n my housies chipped in to get it,,,,,

okies for those who havent heard……Attention sporeans…your english isnt good enuff for mighty Aussie land…this is regardin Permanent residency application..okies so u knoe how durin this application u have prove u are english speakin n u get more points for your application…there is this exam IELTS( i think dats wat its called) n apparently the countries exempted form this exam are…..

USA, UK, Canada, Ireland & New Zealand…so basically aussieland recognises that onli these countries speak english…

so now i have to pay close to freaking 300 bucks when i apply for my pr to prove that i can speak english….well austrlia is a lovely place to live in but their systems here esp DIMIA (immigration) is freaking screwed in their heads……i seriousli think the sporean standard of english is tons better than that of kangaroo land n aussies generally  cant  even spell….damn it!

so the hols have kicked in …..and im doin the usual as to wat i do always……bummin at my sisters place in sydney…….surprising whenever i come here…i manage to sleep by 12 n get up bright n earli at 8 or 9 which is hadrly ever the case in Canberra where i can never get enuff sleep……or btw sumthin interestin i read….if u sleep more than u should……it takes years off your life… sick i wonder how many it has taken off mine sigh ok….. think positive!omg i realli sound crazyyy!

ok so i was bummin in the sydney city today……got lost n walked aimlessly back n forth pitt street around 5 times… after it all i think im a city expert & i knoe my way around shoppin places! okoes back to the point….

since im from canberra n its soo normal n usual u hardli get to see the weirdos whom i think are let loose in sydney…..loads of freaky pple around….i rem once in when i got off the bus in sydney central there was a lady standing in her bathrobe hair all messed up (she had the look of mischa barton in sixth sense onli think older.hmm the dead gal under the bed whom the lil kid sees) and this lady was jus standing there and starin into thin space in the middle of the walkway…creepy..

then i met my sis after her work finished n we came home…..thank god we took the right train today……dat in itself is another long story…..

Jus a general entry to pass my time n update on my life happenings to my loyal readers or reader ( my sister) who keeps askin me if ive updated my blog. the title has nuthin to do with  my entry jus couldnt think of anithin else.

so how was the week? shit. period. (pun). I got into the habit of hitting my alarm clock shut n i missed a few classes n had to go for make up classes… n i jus realised how many assignments i have due.. plus i have mid sems comin up in a few actualli 2 weeks……

watchin the closing ceremony of the commonwealth games in melbourne now…. waitin to watch aishwary rani n saif perform… 15 to 20 mins given to bollywood prob coz the games are gona be held in india next yr……hey tony blair is there too….!

went to a bhangra night last weeknd……thought it would be fun….turned out otherwise,,,, i actuali couldnt wwait to go home……the crowd consisted of 1st yr uni students who looked excited and shouted in joy when a hip song came on..and another group of old pple ..me n nondita as usual planted our asses on 2 chairs n discussed or rather went into mode bitch abt the crowd…….apparentli this group from UK had come down …called delsonic…..who were they?? two middle aged bai guys who took the mike and sang along with the songs n shouted bruaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh every few mins ……… they played a lot of pindu (typical) type of bhangra which u got tired of dancing to……..

next evening was our houusewarming…..my dad called dat day n i told him we were havin a housewarming party …his reply…"good good where are u havin it??" n i was like hmmmm… not like he doesnt knoe wat a housewarming party is,, but i guess i can always count on him to ask such questions or make such remarks… went shoppin for food to bbq and drinks….(btw i realli miss the chicken sausages we get in spore). the night went pretty well actualli….. there was a  major shortage of gals but well we bonded quite well…..

I havent been very experimental wif hairstyles all my life (except for the reali short hairdo during jc) ….always scared of the fact that it would turn out bad n i would hate it…..I joined the gym last yr in Sep n started goin frequently since i had ballooned since i had come to Australia n also due to fact dat i was goin back home for hols n due to the fact dat my mum had actualli started givin me tips…exercise, eat healthy, no fast food etc….this was it!! as far as i could remember during jc n sec school she always used to urge me to eat when i tried to diet,,,,n now she was actualli told me to eat less,,,,i knew i had to do somethin… sorri digressin back to hair… ok i lost a few kilos as a result of goin to the gym n was hence happy (u knoe the warm fuzzy feelin u have inside when u exercise n feel healthy) …..went to Spore for hols …now im back n i havent gone to the gym for a few weeks….so last week i was feelin down.;;all depressed coz i felt my tummy was gettin bigger n i wasnt doin anithin abt it….

At times like these when a girl ( i dunt knoe if this is true for all but it is for me) feels shitty abt her weight (long term problem)…she tries to get short n fast solutions for feeling better and improvin her image in her own eyes to balance the negativity from weight gain…

in a way u feel "ok since i i feel fat now n im not doin anithin abt it now,,,i will concentrate on other aspects n channel my energy elsewhere to make myself feel better"…some methods….A manicure or pedicure….new clothes or shoes…gettin your hair dyed or in my case a new haircut..sumthin new…I was surfin the net hmm ok gettin my daily dose of bollywoodworld.com i chanced upon yana guptas hairstyle… n i was like ‘this is it!!!"  It was a hairstyle i hadnt tried b4 i asked my friends’ for opinions..bad move…my housemate said ‘ she is thin she looks nice u are fat…not nice…swine…i made the hairdressin appointment n then chickened out the last minute,,,,then i decided the next day i would get it done…but i wanted to go prepared so i brought in my laptop to the hairdresser’s to show her yana gupta’s hairstyle…:) in case i couldnt do a good job of explaining my haircut!!!

so loads of my hair got chopped off…I was cringin in my seat as she was cuttin my hair but happy to say i like my hair now…..it still has its length..but its heavily stepped on the top portions….so hence it is proven… restylin via new haircut is uplifting….my type of anti depressant….

My new hairstyle or somethin close to it…

My most daring hairstyle ever…I never realli had short hair ..i was always midlength or long so u can imagine the shock my parents got……There were lots of mixed feelings …I rem one uncle actualli told me ‘ Beta…Ladki ki Khoobsurathi balon mein hoti hain ( a gal’s beauty lies in her hair) …boy i was pissed coz indirectly dat did mean u look ugli….hmmm but it was an experience,,,,

Hmm i luv reading.. ,,,,for those who dint knoe…. i have a new hobby….collecting books!! If Im readin sumthin reali interestin i would not put it down until ive finished it… especially autobiographies..I love reading accounts of someone’s real life experiences ….. Reading is great… I guess for me its an effective form of escapism or in a sick/comforting way i feel better, or not so discouraged abt my own life after readin abt the types of hardships people go thru n come out of it with a lesson for people to learn….. there are various effects..

sumtimes I feel shitty n realli disheartened learning abt the evil that is out there….the types of pain (physical or mental) inflicted by people on others…..or simply the hardships people have to suffer due to the lack of basic necessities n how far they would actualli go to obtain them for survival……

However another effect is simply being thankful for wat you have got…..I admit I place a lot of importance on material things… Im never satisfied with wat ive got….I bought a tshirt the other day n i loved the way it fit so i had to go out n buy the same top again in 4 more colours.. so i ended up with 5 exactly same tops in different colours! Well dat is one area i have certainly got to work on….. so every  once in a while when i jus want more…. I try to remind myself of how there are millions around who dont even have food for survival n here i am frettin over gettin more of wat i have plenty of…….

On a lighter note,,,,,my readin history,,,

I started off with Archie comics (good loo readin material btw) in primary school, hiding them in my assessment books….my dad would walk past my room n say " studyin?? good gal"……..then my sister got me hooked to the Malory Towers series by Enid Blyton.

In secondary school, came all those books about gals’ transition periods (pun intended), crushes, bitching, rivalry .. Judy Blume etc… Surprising i never got hooked to Nancy Drew n the Sweet Valley Highs……..once in a while someone would get hold of a raunchy detailed novel n would bring it to school for the rest of us to read n giggle over……

Now i read mostly autobiographies,girly feel good fiction n trashy magazines ( sad to admit i have a scrap book of favourite articles n fashion styles) here is a list of wat i want to n have yet to read …….my recommendations from wat ive read,,,,

Well I Love watchin hindi movies ….and im gona reveal the embarrassin fact that my homepage is bollywoodworld.com…..

some points abt bollyood i jus had to make ( suggestions welcome)

1. hmm i watched Aksar yesterday n i have to say hindi movies are gettin raunchier like emraan hashmi n his must have sex scenes,,,, but sex scenes in bollywood = kissing ( probably without tongue) and loads of sucking of the neck n nuthin more realli…..when will they move  on to the next level???

2. Do we remember the days in old movies where an actor would wear a moustache n that would be a fantastic disguise where no one would be able to recognise him….sigh thank gosh we have progressed from that era,,,,

3. Hindi movies always have to portray actresses in a good light why cant they jus be simple vamps who are bad jus coz they are,,,,I was so peeved when i watched No Entry . Bipasha is sumwhat a call girl who lures anil kapoor n tries to cause a rift in his marriage n even goes on overseas trips with clients… but at the end of the day she did all dat coz her husband was in the hospital n she needed money sheesh it jus killed the flow…..

4. The Hero is always invincible ( he would never die even if shot by 10 bullets unless there is another actor) until recently..nowadays unexpectedli heroes die in movies….like Abhishek in Dus.

So for those who dint knoe n much to my dismay…. Abhishekh and Aishwarya are gettin it on….(thanx to my trusted source bollywoodworld.com) .They supposedly hit it off while filming umraon jaan n Dhoom 2… im not realli sure i would want to watch those movies when they come out…… During his birthday bash recently at his residence Jalsa, Aish was the only guest given the privilege of driving in where as everyone else had to alight outside,,,

I like Abhisekh /…he totalli  blew me away with his crotch shaking moves in Dus Bahaane .. in Bluffmaster n bunty babli……so i realli dont think he and Aish go well together,,,, here a few reasons why….

1. I think Abhishekh n Rani look better together…

2.  Aish cares too much of her image…. her portrayal of herself " I dont kiss on screen n dont wear bikinis coz im a virgin" im sure the furthest she n salman n vivek went were holdin hands,,,,

3. Abhishek is a fellow aquarian n Aish is a scorpio and this is their compatibility "This is not the best coalition. You are both fixed in your beliefs and the Aquarian’s free-spirited nature arouses suspicious side of the Scorpion.
